I rode the F450GS for a day
My thoughts about the new middleweight twin from BMW (F450GS) as a current gen KTM 390 adv owner
Recently my friend Ambro called me up out of nowhere and asked me if I wanted to tag along for a short ride in and around Malayatoor, Kerala. He did mention that he had the F450 GS with him for a couple of days, and that we could test ride it, shoot content etc. Naturally I said "hell yeah", and decided to meet.
Initial impressions
The bike is slightly larger than a KTM adv, but slightly lighter as well. Its slightly taller (by 15-20 mm) but definitely manageable for anybody who's 5'6" and under. I am 5'4" myself and handling this bike wasn't an issue for me at all. The seat height is very accessible for most Indians.
